Post-Game Notes: APSU vs. Jacksonville State

• Austin Peay has now lost 30 straight road games, the longest streak active streak in Division I.
• APSU now has an 18-game OVC road losing streak.
• APSU still has not defeated Jacksonville State since the Gamecocks joined the OVC. APSU has lost eight straight to the Gamecocks.
• After going 84 straight games without being shutout, APSU now has been shutout six times in the last 21 games, including three times this season.
• Starting his second game at weak safety, Buddy Mitchell recorded a career-high 13 tackles against Jacksonville State, including for two loss. The 13 tackles also were a season high for the Govs.
• Freshman safety David Wall and freshman linebacker Zach Stuart, making his first start, each had seven tackles against Jacksonville State.
• Freshman linebacker Benedict Louis recorded the Govs' longest sack with a 14 yarder against Christian LeMay late in the second quarter.
• Senior cornerback Montez Carlton was credited with a Govs' season-best three pass breakups against Jacksonville State.  
• For the fourth time this season punter Ben Campbell averaged more than 40 yards per punt with his 43.1 yards-per-punt average against Jacksonville State. In eight punts, Campbell had two travel more than 50 yards and three downed inside the 20-yard line.
• With his eight punts vs. JSU, Campbell now has 79 punts. He set APSU's record a year ago with 87 punts.
• Justin Roberson led the Govs with 57 yards rushing on 17 attempts against JSU. The 17 carries were the second most for the sophomore running back. He had 20 against Eastern Illinois.
• Quarterback Darrien Boone rushed for a career-high 40 yards against JSU.
