• The game was the final contest in the career for 18 seniors on the Governors squad.
• With his seven punt attempts, senior Ben Campbell set both the Austin Peay and Ohio Valley Conference single-season record for punts in a season with 94. The old OVC record (93) was set by Morehead State's John Christopher during the 1982 season.
• Nii Lartey recorded three tackles for loss (for seven yards), the most tackles for loss by a Governors defensive player this season in a single game.
• The 24 rushes by the Govs Otis Gerron was a team single-game high, while his 114 rushing yards mark the third times this season he has rushed for at least 100 yards in a game.
• Trey Taylor's 18 pass completions tie Micky Macius for team single-game high, while his 32 pass attempts and 224 passing yards were a team single-game highs for the season.
• The 80-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Thomas from Trey Taylor was the longest pass play of the season for APSU.
• The 80-yard pass play was the longest by a Governors quarterback and receiver since Oct. 1, 2011, when Jake Ryan hit Devin Stark for a 72-yard completion versus Tennessee State.
• Wesley Thomas' 141 receiving were the most by a Govs receiver this season, while also marking the first time any receiver for APSU eclipsed the 100-yard mark in a game this season.
• The 141 receiving yards by Wesley Thomas was the first time a Govs receiver has catches totaling at least 100 yards in a game since Devin Stark recorded 145 yards receiving on nine catches versus Southeast Missouri on Oct. 27, 2012.
• The 20 first downs by the Govs tie the team's single-game best (Tennessee State).
• The 79 plays on offense and 431 total yards were team single-game highs.
• The 10 catches and 171 yards receiving by Tennessee Tech's Cody Matthews were the most given up to an opponent this season in a single game.
• The safety recorded by the Governors, in the fourth quarter, was the first for Austin Peay since they turned the trick versus Jacksonville State on Nov. 10, 2012.
