Post-Game Notes: APSU vs. Morehead State

• The 82-69 loss puts the Govs at 1-4 against the OVC East.
• Junior center Chris Horton matched his career-high with a 23-point performance (Belmont, 01/17/15). It was also his 12th double-double of the season and fourth-straight—the first time in his career has had four consecutive double-doubles.
• Horton went to the free-throw line 20 times, making 15 and setting a career-high in free-throws made and attempted.
• Horton's 15-of-20 night were the most free throws made and attempted since Derek Wright went 16-of-20, Jan. 29, 2008 in a double-overtime defeat at Southeast Missouri. 
• Horton's 23 points and 11 rebounds were good enough to earn his 33^rd double-double as a Governor.
• Freshman guard Josh Robinson posted 14 points on the night. It was the sixth consecutive game, and 10th this season he has scored in double-figures.
• Austin Peay's 44 free-throw attempts were a team season-high topping its previous record of 36. It was the Govs' most free throw attempts since shooting 45 against Eastern Illinois, Feb. 13, 2014.
• The 32 made free-throws were a Governors season-high, 10 more than its previous mark of 22 (Lipscomb, 12/13/14). It was APSU's most free throws made since connecting for 37 in a double-overtime defeat at Southeast Missouri, Jan. 29, 2008.
• Austin Peay's 45 field goal attempts were a season low.
• The Govs shooting attack went into deep freeze, as they only managed to connect on 4-21 attempts after intermission.
• The Governors struggled to control Morehead State's scoring around the basket, allowing the Eagles to score 56 points in the paint, 42 of the points coming layups and/or dunks.
