  • Austin Peay snapped its two-game winning streak, Monday, falling to the Islanders 74-70 at the Dunn Center.
  • The Governors were held to just 40 percent from the field (23-of-57), while TAMU-CC shot 46 percent.
  • From three-point territory, the Islanders were 7-of-19, five of those coming in the opening half.
  • Senior center Chris Horton exited the floor midway through the first half with the Govs leading. From that point on in the half, the Islanders went on a 25-15 run to take a 38-33 lead into the locker room.
  • For the game, Horton was held to his second-lowest point total this year (11) and a season-low eight rebounds.
