Post-Game Notes: Austin Peay vs. UT Martin

• The loss drops the Governors to 2-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference standings, the third straight loss with all three coming at home.
• It's the first time the Skyhawks have defeated Austin Peay out of the last four meetings, with the all-time series now 70-26 in favor of the Govs.
• It's also the first time UT Martin has knocked off APSU in Clarksville since 2009.
• Austin Peay has now scored less than 70 points in 11 out of the last 12 games and in five consecutive tries.
• Freshman guard Josh Robinson scored a team-high 15 points despite going 3-of-13 from the floor. Eight of his points came at the free throw line by shooting 88 percent from the stripe.
• Junior center Chris Horton finished with 14 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks. It's his 17^th game of the season to reach double-digit territory and seventh consecutive.
• Senior guard Ed Dyson added 10 points – all coming in the first half – as he converted on three three-point attempts.
• As for bench points, the Govs held a substantial advantage over UT Martin (31-2) as nine different APSU players scored.
• UT Martin's lead was 29-24 at halftime, but the Skyhawks stormed out of the gates in the second to build an 18-0 run with their largest lead being 21.
• The Govs cut the deficit to as low as eight points in the later stages, but APSU's only lead came at the 18:09 mark of the first half.
• Three different Skyhawks had 15+ points, with Marshun Newell's 23 points being the third-highest total allowed by APSU this season. His 17 rebounds are the most against the Govs.
