Postgame Notes: Austin Peay vs. Morehead State

• Austin Peay allowed Morehead State to shoot 62 percent in the second half, leading to a 75-65 defeat at Johnson Arena, Wednesday.
• After the Governors took the lead 31-30 at the 17:16 mark of the second half. However, they allowed MSU to go on a 14-0 run soon after. APSU cut the deficit eight with 2:29 to play, but couldn't mount a comeback in the closing stages.
• The Eagles put five players in double figures, the majority of those points coming in the paint as MSU scored 48 in that area.
• Senior center Chris Horton scored a game-high 22 points, shooting 8-of-8 at the free throw line, to go along with nine rebounds.
• Sophomore Josh Robinson added 13 points (3-of-8 3FG), three rebounds and two assists.
• Senior Khalil Davis chipped in with 11 points with four rebounds.
• Off the bench, former high school teammates Chris Porter-Bunton and Jared Savage combined for 16 points, both shooting 3-of-5 from the field.
• Austin Peay finished with 16 turnovers, nine coming in the first half.
• Freshman Zach Glotta earned the nod at point guard, his second collegiate start. He finished with three points after hitting a three-pointer to begin the game.
• The Govs fall to 0-3 in OVC road contests, dropping their overall conference record to 2-6.
