Postgame Notes: Austin Peay vs. Tennessee Tech

• Austin Peay defeated Tennessee Tech 92-72 in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, its first postseason win since 2009.
• APSU's 92 points are the most scored in an OVC Tournament game since 2000 (100 vs. Eastern Illinois, Feb. 29.
• Senior center Chris Horton exploded for a career-high performance, matching his career-best with 37 points and set a personal-best in rebounds with 21.
• According to ESPN Stats & Info, Horton is only the second collegiate player this season to record 35 points and 20 rebounds, the other being North Carolina's Brice Johnson.
• The last known player to rack up 20 or more rebounds in an OVC postseason contest was former Morehead State great and current Denver Nugget Kenneth Faried in 2011. It's just the second 20-rebound performance in the last decade.
• Redshirt freshman Chris Porter-Bunton recorded APSU's second-highest point total on the evening, scoring 12 points (10 in the first half) before fouling out in the second half.
• Despite not hitting a three-pointer, sophomore guard Josh Robinson added 11 points and six assists.
• Playing on his birthday, freshman Jared Savage hit three shots from behind the arc, finishing with nine points in his third consecutive start.
• In his first appearance since January, junior John Murry made an impact off the bench, recording seven points. It's his first points since Jan. 23 against Easten Illinois.
• Defensively, the Governors held Tennessee Tech to 39 percent shooting from the floor, including a 17 percent clip (5-of-29) from three-point range.
• Austin Peay's largest lead in the game came at the 12:43 mark of the second half, a 26-point margin.
