CLARKSVILLE—Austin Peay State University athletics will host its annual 'Basketball Bash' at the Bud Barn Friday, 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, on the Charles Hand Farm.

The program begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., with complimentary beverages for all guests. Austin Peay President Dr. Alisa White will make a few brief remarks prior to dinner, which will be served by Austin Peay's men and women's basketball coaches. Following the dinner, those coaches will introduce their players and staff and get fans fired up for the 2016-17 season, with the first home exhibition slated for Nov. 1 against Thomas More.

Steak, chicken, sides, homemade desserts and complementary beverages provided by Beachaven Winery and Budweiser of Clarksville are all included in the ticket price.

New for the 2016 edition of the annual event, entire six-seat tables can be purchased for $500, guaranteeing not only six seats together, but also a company or individual's name on the Basketball Bash banner, logo on your selected table, recognition both at the event and during that Tuesday's 'Sneak Peayk' at the Dunn Center and six floor seats for any APSU home contest, depending on availability. Tables also are available for $400, which includes reserved six-person seating.

Tables will be sold until Oct. 14, with individual tickets on sale for $50 beginning Oct. 15 until the day before the event. Walk-up tickets will be $60.
