2015: Local product acquitted himself nicely in limited run as a freshman, recording eight tackles in nine games… made four tackles (two solo) against Vanderbilt… had a tackle in games against Eastern Illinois, Jacksonville State, Tennessee State and Southeast Missouri.

Previously: Prepped at Northeast High School under Isaac Shelby.

Personal: Son of Shavonda Fort-Merriweather… has one brother, Dezmond… born Nov. 21… plans to major in communications.
