2017-18: Talented hurdler continued improvements in second season… season-best 9.30 60m hurdles mark in the season-opening Vanderbilt Opener… made a finals appearance in the 60m hurdles during indoor season, placing fourth overall at 9.40 at the Saluki Fast Start… during outdoor season, placed sixth in the 100m hurdles at the APSU Invitational (15.07)… personal-best 14.65 mark in the 100m hurdles at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships, placing 10^th and just missing a spot in the finals.

2016-17: Provided valuable depth on the track during her first season… opened up her career with a personal-best 1:01.34 mark in the 400m at the Vanderbilt Opener… indoor season-best finish came in the 400m at the John Craft Invite, where she finished 12^th with a 1:04.41 mark… posted a personal-best in the 200m dash at the MTSU Invitational with a 27.21 run… spent much more time in the hurdles during outdoor season… posted personal-bests during back-to-back weeks in the 400m hurdles (1:11.15 at the Hilltopper Relays) and 100m hurdles (14.80, Georgia Tech Invitational)… season-best seventh place finish occurred in the 100m hurdles (14.94) at the APSU Invitational.

Prior to Austin Peay: Competed in the sprints and hurdles for Genese Martin and Ron Huey at City University School of Liberal Arts in Memphis… school record-holder in the 100 and 300m hurdles… three-time Shelby County champion in the 100m hurdles… competed three times at the state level.

Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Rhonda Black… born Dec. 22… plans to major in health and human performance.
