Austin Peay’s all-time leading rusher with 2,932 career yards on 636 attempts. Twice gained over 1,000 yards in one season. A big reason for Austin Peay’s 8-1-1, 8-1-0 and 6-4-0 records under Coach Bill Dupes in mid 1960’s. Made first team Little All-American as 190-pound fullback in 1966. Scored 28 career touchdowns. Gained 1,054 yards as senior and scored 78 points. Also holds school single game record of 36 rushing attempts, which resulted in 179 net yards against UT-Martin in 1966 and single season mark of 13 touchdowns. Played high school ball at Gallatin, Tenn. and prepped at Castle Heights before coming to APSU.
