CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University men's tennis team will take on Vincennes, 3 p.m., Wednes-
day in Vincennes, Ind. The Govs are 3-16 overall and 1-5 in the OVC while Vincennes is 3-6 overall.
Fresh off a 6-1 victory over Tennessee State, the Govs are looking for consecutive victories. Coming off a 1-4 road
trip, the Govs are happy to come back to Clarksville.
Although the Govs defeated Vincennes 5-2 earlier this season, head men's tennis coach Brian Surface does not
foresee an easy match.
"Our matches have been a lot closer than the scores have indicated," Surface said. "Vincennes is playing good
tennis, coming off a win at Indianapolis. We expect a close match coming down to a few games."
Andrew Naidu has been playing well for the Govs, winning six of his last seven matches. Surface has decided to
change the line up heading into the Vincennes match.
Rodrigo Borges will play the No. 1seed while
Joao Pinho will
play No. 2 and
Brian Koch No. 6.
