Austin Peay's Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) office is responsible for monitoring the eligibility and academic progress for APSU’s student-athletes. Services provided are objective-based study hall, grade monitoring, weekly academic meetings, personal and career counseling and academic advising. In addition, the SASS staff in collaboration with campus partners, creates and executes programs to further prepare our student-athletes personally, mentally, and professionally.
Student-Athlete Support Services office is based in the Dr. David P. Roe Academic Center (The Roe) located on the second floor of the Winfield Dunn Center. In addition to a computer lab and area for quiet study, the facility serves as an advising center for student-athletes and houses offices for each of the department's staff members.
