CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University men's tennis added in-state product Andrew Solarski, of
Germantown, to a letter of intent for the 2006-07 season, the team announced Monday.
Solarski played for Houston High School where he was a Tennessee Class AAA state quarterfinalist his junior and
senior years. He was named to the 2006 (Memphis) Commercial Appeal Division I All-Metro team. He compiled a 15-25
mark in United States Tennis Association play and was ranked 90th among all Tennessee 18-year old players.
"Andrew has been a part of one of the best junior programs in the South," said Govs head coach Ed Dickson. "He is
the kind of player we want to attract to Austin Peay ? a good, athletic, Tennessee player who will work hard to continue to
get better. We believe his best tennis is certainly ahead of him."
