CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? The Austin Peay State University athletics department will join forces with XOS Technologies, Inc. to bring its fans a state-of-the-art internet experience on a new official athletics web site, athletics director Dave Loos announced, Wednesday.
The Austin Peay athletics department Web site is currently part of the Austin Peay State University Web site and located at www.apsu.edu/letsgopeay. As part of its partnership, XOS will design and power customized platforms which will allow the Austin Peay athletics department to offer a wide variety of interactive fan services across multiple channels.
"Austin Peay fans have shown their loyalty to our program throughout the years and we want to give them the best online experience possible," said Loos. "XOS Technologies provides a single solution that will help us deliver that experience, from their streaming technology to publishing tools to their database marketing capabilities."
The official athletics web site will migrate during the summer months to a commercial domain with a dot-com address. The new site will present complete news, scores, statistics and more for every team at Austin Peay. The new site also will allow access to premium video content in conjunction with ovcsports.tv, the Ohio Valley Conference's Web site where subscribers have had access to live and archived video for all conference contests in football and basketball and selected other events.
