CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? When the Austin Peay State University Governors football team takes the field in a 6 p.m., Saturday, contest against Tennessee State, it will be a reunion of sorts for many folks. To commemorate the first Ohio Valley Conference football game in 3,892 days, the Govs' 1977 OVC Championship team will be recognized prior to the game.

In fact, members of the 1977 championship team are invited to campus for a number of events on the weekend beginning with a 6:30 p.m., Friday, reception at The Riverview Inn, sponsored by Budweiser.

APSU President Timothy Hall will host the President's Brunch at 9 a.m., Saturday, in the Dunn Center Hall of Fame Lobby. A limited number of brunch tickets are available for $10 each, which can be purchased until Wednesday afternoon at the Austin Peay ticket office.
