CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University women's tennis showed improvement despite losing to Bethel College, Wednesday, 5-2.
The Lady Govs took both its points in singles action, before struggling in doubles competition. 
Bethel dominated in the opening four singles matches, before in No.5 singles action, Lady Govs freshman Alex Pyle defeated Dana Ledbetter 6-4, 6-4.
Pyle continued her momentum with the help of freshman Mary Beth Lefler, defeating Dana Ledbetter and Margot Creaseman 8-1, in No. 3 doubles action.
