CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Heavy rain throughout middle Tennessee has forced the cancellation of Austin Peay's baseball and softball contests, Wednesday.

The Lady Govs softball team was scheduled to play at Cumberland and that contest will be rescheduled. The Govs baseball team was scheduled to host Middle Tennessee, Wednesday night, and has been rescheduled for May 5.

Both teams are on the road for Ohio Valley Conference action this weekend. The Lady Govs will travel to Eastern Illinois for a three-game series while the Govs travel to Eastern Kentucky for their own three-game set. Due to the Easter holiday, both series will begin Friday.
