CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University women's tennis team remains winless in Ohio Valley Conference action with a 6-1 loss to Tennessee Tech, Tuesday, at the Governors Indoor Tennis Center.

In the doubles competition, Mariana Pagan and Yuki Nakamura picked up another win at No. 1 over Kelly Holtzhausen and Katie Barnhill. Pagan and Nakamura have now won four of their last five at No. 1 doubles. The Golden Eagles, however, won the bottom two matches to take the point.

Pagan struggled to find her form against Holtzhausen on the singles side, playing a close a first set, but being shutout in the finale. Michelle Liew earned Austin Peay's lone win in convincing fashion over Alean Krutkina at No. 2 singles. Liew has won five straight matches for the Lady Govs at No.2.

Austin Peay returns to action in a rescheduled OVC match, Friday, at Tennessee State.
