CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University's softball team heads south Wednesday to play its next to last non-conference doubleheader of the season, a 1:30 p.m. matchup, against Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Ala.

For Austin Peay (10-29) and Alabama A&M (9-19-1) this is a makeup of the doubleheader originally scheduled for Feb. 28, but has postponed because of rain.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams since the 2004 season and Austin Peay leads in the all-time series 9-1.
