CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University's softball team will play its second home doubleheader of the fall schedule Sept. 30, at 6 p.m., versus Cumberland University at Lady Govs Field.

For the Lady Govs, it will be their first action since playing four games in the Austin Peay Fall Classic back on Sept. 12-13 after rain forced the cancellation of the Worth Club K September Slam Tournament (Sept. 19) and the Motlow State doubleheader (Sept. 27) being postponed.

The doubleheader will also mark the return of former Lady Govs softball player and assist coach Heather Stanfill, who is now in her second season as head coach of the Lady Bulldogs.

Austin Peay will conclude their fall slate of games on Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., as it makes up the postponed doubleheader versus Motlow State at Lady Govs Field.
