KENNESAW, Ga. - Austin Peay State University softball player, sophomore first baseman/pitcher Lauren de Castro was lone Lady Gov named to the all-tournament team, after competition of games on Sunday at the Kennesaw State Classic.

A native of Torrance, Calf., deCastro batted .364 for the tournament (4-for-11) with a team best .636 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage.

Included among her four hits in the classic was a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning in the Lady Govs classic-opening game versus Mercer, to tie the game 7-7, which the Lady Govs won in eight innings, 11-9.

She would finish the classic with a team-best five RBI, while scoring a run and walking twice.
