TULSA, Okla. – Austin Peay State University men's tennis seniors Iago Seffrin and Aleksas Tverijonas each lost their consolation match in the pre-qualifying tournament of the 2014 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, Sunday, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Tverijonas, who had earned the No. 10 seed and a first-round bye, lost his second round match (6-4, 6-2) against Southern Illinois' Jonny Rigby, Saturday. In the consolation round, he faced South Florida's Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz and lost 6-2, 6-1.

Seffrin, who lost to North Florida's Zachary Goldberg in a first-round match 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, was selected to face Valparaiso's Charlie Ernhardt. After dropping the first set 6-3, Seffrin battled back to force a second set tie-break before eventually falling 7-6 (7-5).

The Govs will have one competition at home, Friday, against North Alabama, before traveling to the ITA Ohio Valley regional, beginning Oct. 16 in Nashville.
