MALIBU, CALIF. – Austin Peay State's Lidia Yanes Garcia will compete in the Oracle ITA Masters hosted by the Malibu Racquet Club and Pepperdine University Thursday morning in the mixed doubles and singles draw.
Yanes Garcia has gone 10-2 in singles competition during the fall including a win in the number one singles draw in the Govs' last tournament at USC Upstate. She has also gone 4-4 in doubles action.
Yanes Garcia will start play in the Oracle ITA Masters Thursday morning in the mixed doubles draw with partner Andrew Watson from Memphis at 8 a.m.
Following her mixed doubles opener, Yanes Garcia, the 27th seed in the field of 32, will play her first singles match at 10:15 a.m.
