Because LetsGoPeay.com endeavors to keep up with the latest trends in internet and journalism, it's been brought to our attention that people enjoy lists. Every week during the academic year (think of it as one-stop shopping this weekend, only this buy-one, get-one is for facts and witty banter relating to APSU), we'll give you the Fast Five—five things to know or watch for around APSU athletics in the coming days.

If the gal's game is of more interest to you, head down I-24 Sunday afternoon to watch David Midlick's squad face off against Lipscomb. It's Austin Peay's first trip to Allen Arena since the Govs erased a 10-point second-half deficit in a 61-58 win in 2011.

We'll be playing volleyball at Austin Peay into December for the first time since 2010 thanks to the Governors OVC Tournament Championship victory last week. Join the Govs at the Echo Power Club level for a Watch Party, 6 p.m., Sunday to find out the Governors destination.

In the spirit of the season, remember to give thanks this week. Give thanks for the student-athletes who thrill us, the coaches who change their lives, the staffers who do so much behind the scenes and your fellow fans who make games fun to attend. We all play a part in making Austin Peay athletics the unique experience it is.
