CONWAY, Ark. – Austin Peay State University beach volleyball struggles in day two of Central Arkansas Invitational.
The early morning matches started at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively, as the Govs looked to rebound from their day one matchups. However, the Governors were unable to claim a win on the weekend, despite several close pairings.
The Govs once again failed to steal a point from Central Arkansas, but Ashley Slay and Cori Theiss, as well as Jenna Panning and Haley Turner, all forced three-set matchups against the Beach Bears.
Theiss and Slay once again dominated a two-set matchup against Louisiana-Monroe that took a point for the Govs, but Austin Peay fell 4-1, in their second matchup against ULM on the weekend.
Austin Peay will return home for the final tournament of the season, as the Govs host the Ohio Valley Challenge, Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21.
