Govs wrap up regular season hosting Ohio Valley Challenge

CLARKSVILLE– Austin Peay State University beach volleyball team is set to host the Ohio Valley Challenge, Friday and Saturday.

The two-day, six-team affair will see Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Lincoln Memorial, Carson-Newman and Spring Hill College make the trip to Clarksville for the first tournament on the newly christened Govs Beach Volleyball Complex.

The Ohio Valley Challenge will open with Austin Peay facing Jacksonville State at 8 a.m., Friday morning. The Govs will also face Morehead State in a mid-morning showdown just before lunch.

Over the lunch break, Austin Peay will honor Trent Caffee and his family for their continuous support of Austin Peay athletics with a naming ceremony for the center court at the Govs Beach Volleyball Complex as it will be called the Caffee Family Court.

The Governors will have the afternoon off, but there will be plenty of beach action on campus. For all the upcoming games see the Ohio Valley Challenge schedule or follow the Governors' Forecast.

Be sure to follow the Govs on Twitter at @AustinPeayBVB for updates throughout the weekend, and prep for the next matchups by checking out the Governors' Forecast.
