CLARKSVILLE – This weekend, Austin Peay State University football visits Roy Stewart Stadium to take on Murray State in another game with Ohio Valley Conference title implications and the Governors athletics department invites fans to this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football assistant coaches Craig Candeto and Dominique Bowman starting 6 p.m., Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard presented by Five Star Radio Group and the Hand Family Companies.
This week, assistant coaches Craig Candeto and Dominique Bowman will join guest host Van Stokes to look back at the Govs Homecoming win over UT Martin, last Saturday. Candeto, Bowman, and Stokes also will look ahead to this weekend's Battle of the Border matchup with the Murray State Racers, with the Govs looking to take another step towards claiming their first OVC title since 1977.
Opening Thursday's show is head women's basketball coach David Midlick, who joins the show to discuss the start of the basketball season.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature Austin Peay head football coach Mark Hudspeth throughout the Governors football season. Fans can join Hudspeth and host Brian Rives each Thursday at the newly-renovated Buffalo Wild Wings. Located on Hampton Place, just a stone's throw from Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Buffalo Wild Wings returns for its third season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches' Show.
