CLARKSVILLE – This weekend Austin Peay State University's football team continues its first-ever journey in the FCS Playoffs, as it makes the trip west to take on the No. 4 National Seed, Sacramento State. To get ready for all the playoff-football action this weekend, the Governors athletics department invites fans to this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show feat. Mark Hudspeth starting at 6 p.m., Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard presented by Five Star Radio Group and the Hand Family Companies
This week the show features a special guest as the opener, Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner Beth Debauche. Commissioner Debauche will record an interview with host Brian Rives, discussing the Govs historic run in the FCS Playoffs and recapping her trip to Clarksville for the first-round victory over Furman. The interview will be aired at the beginning of this week's show.
Then, live at Buffalo Wild Wings, Govs football associate head coach Marquase Lovings and offensive coordinator Tim Zetts will join Brian Rives to look back at the Governors first round rout of Furman, last Saturday. Lovings and Zetts also will look ahead to this weekend's second round matchup with the Hornets of Sacramento State, with the Govs looking to punch their ticket to the FCS Playoffs quarterfinals.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature Austin Peay head football coach Mark Hudspeth or select assistant coaches throughout the Governors football season. Fans can join Hudspeth and host Brian Rives each Thursday at the newly-renovated Buffalo Wild Wings. Located on Hampton Place, just a stone's throw from Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Buffalo Wild Wings returns for its third season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches' Show. In addition to the show, fans will be able to enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings' Boneless Thursday wings special.
