CLARKSVILLE— 'Inside Austin Peay,' powered by Bud Light and Hand Family Companies, will return to the airwaves 6 p.m., Monday, at Blackhorse Pub and Brewing, at 132 Franklin St. in downtown Clarksville.
This week's show will be special, as there will be an NCAA Tournament Selection Show watch party for the Governors' women's tennis team, the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champions, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Blackhorse. The radio show will begin after the selection show, and head tennis coach Ross Brown and sophomore Fabienne Schmidt will look back at the Govs' dominant OVC Tournament run and look ahead to the program's NCAA Tournament appearance. Head baseball coach Travis Janssen also will join the program to recap the Govs' three-game sweep of SUI Edwardsville over the weekend, as the Govs now sit in first place in the OVC standings.
Each week for the duration of the 2018-19 sports season, Brian Rives will broadcast from Blackhorse beginning 6 p.m., Monday nights on 104.1 FM and 540 AM, joined by coaches, players and other important figures in the Austin Peay athletics community. Fans outside the Clarksville area can listen online at ESPN Clarksville's streaming site.
Fans are encouraged to visit Blackhorse Pub & Brewery each week to meet Austin Peay coaches and staff in person.
