Both golf programs open up the 2019 fall session early next week. For the women's team, the Payne Stewart Memorial will be their first action under new head coach Jessica Cathey, a former Austin Peay standout. It also kicks off the final season for Meghann Stamps, Austin Peay's lone senior.

On the men's side, Robbie Wilson will take a veteran-laden squad down to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the Sam Hall Intercollegiate. A trio of seniors--Michael Busse, Austin Lancaster and Alex Vegh--begin their final seasons looking to secure an Ohio Valley Conference title before all is said and done.

Volleyball continues its difficult early-season stretch at Northwestern's NU Under Armour Challenge. Ginny Gerig Busse looks to continue her season's hot start after earning OVC Defensive Player of the Week honors last week.

Closing out the week, women's soccer is at high altitudes this weekend. After dropping a fiercely-contested match to Pac-12 foe Colorado on Thursday night, the Govs will be in Greeley on Sunday looking to square off against winless Northern Colorado.

That's this week's Fast Five. Good luck to all our teams in action this week and Let's Go Peay!
