- Austin Peay has won back-to-back games for just the second time in series history and improved to 8-20-3 all-time against JSU.
- The Govs improved to 4-12-1 all-time against JSU in Jacksonville, Alabama.
OFFENSIVE SPARKS
- DeAngelo Wilson made 10 catches for 118 yards, posting his 13th career 100-yard receiving game – Wilson has recorded 100-receiving yards in all four games he has played in this spring.
- Wilson caught his third touchdown of the season and now has 25 receiving touchdowns in his Austin Peay career – he trails Harold "Red" Roberts by six touchdowns for the most in program history.
- Draylen Ellis tossed for 211 yards and a touchdown against JSU, he has thrown for 200-plus yards and at least one touchdown in three-straight games.
- Ellis attempted 53 passes against JSU, he is the first Austin Peay quarterback to attempt 50-plus passes in a single game since Jake Ryan attempted 61 passes at Jacksonville State (11/10/12).
- Jay Parker and CJ Evans Jr. both posted career-highs with nine and six receptions, respectively.

- Austin Peay's defense held Jacksonville State to just 10 points, which is the Gamecock's lowest scoring output since a 17-7 loss to Kennesaw State (12/2/2017) in the FCS Playoffs.
- The Govs defense intercepted Jacksonville State quarterback Zion Webb four times, the last time Austin Peay recorded four interceptions in a single game was on Sep. 10, 2005 against Cumberland.
- Kam Ruffin recorded two interceptions in the contest, he is the first Governor with two picks in a game since Elijiah Culp at Southeast Missouri (3/14/21).
- John Wesley Whiteside forced two fumbles against Jacksonville State, he is the first Governor to force a pair of fumbles in a single game since Jaison Williams did it against Jacksonville State (10/7/17).
- Whiteside led the Governors and matched his career-high with nine tackles.
- Terrell Vassel picked up the first interception of his Austin Peay career
- Jonathon Edwards picked off the second pass of his Austin Peay career – his first interception came in last year's win against Jacksonville State (11/28/19) at Fortera Stadium.

- When Draylen Ellis' punt bounced into the endzone for a touchback in the second quarter, it was the first time in 23 games that an Austin Peay punter has recorded a touchback. The Govs had punted 133 times – with 49 of those boots staying inside the 20-yard line – since their last touchback, which came off the foot of Jeremiah Oatsvall on Nov. 3, 2018 against Eastern Kentucky.
- Matt Rigney hit a 60-yard punt in the fourth quarter, marking the first 60-yard boot by an Austin Peay punter since he recorded a 65-yard punt against Tennessee State (2/28/21).
