Scotty Walden - Football Coaches Show

Football Coaches Show featuring Walden, Tucker, and Ruffin, Tuesday

March 29, 2021

CLARKSVILLE – After upsetting No. 7 ranked Jacksonville State on the road last Sunday, Austin Peay State University Athletics, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Football Coaches Show featuring head coach Scotty Walden, tight ends coach Shane Tucker, and junior safety Kam Ruffin, 12 p.m., Tuesday on ESPN Clarksville.

This week's show will feature, Walden and host Van Stokes breaking down Austin Peay's first win on the road at Jacksonville State since 1979. Stokes and Walden will then take a look ahead to the Governors final home game of the season, where they will host undefeated and No. 14 ranked Murray State, Saturday, at Fortera Stadium.

Then Tucker will join Stokes to break down the Governors tight-ends room. Stokes and Tucker will take a look back what the Austin Peay tight ends have done this season and then will look ahead to see what the tight ends can do to help the Govs take down the No. 14 ranked Racers on Saturday.

Finally, Ruffin will join the Austin Peay Coaches Show after being responsible for two of the Governors four interceptions last week at Jacksonville State. Ruffin helped lead a Governors defense that held Jacksonville State to just 10 points, which is the Gamecocks lowest scoring output since a 17-7 loss to Kennesaw State (12/2/2017) in the FCS Playoffs.

Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature Austin Peay head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches throughout the football season. The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from the Five Star Media Studios and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and it simulcast online.

If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Tuesday, it will be re-aired on Sunday at 12 p.m. leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.
