CLARKSVILLE – With the Austin Peay State University football team's season opener just 11 days away, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
The first edition of this year's show will feature Walden and host Brian Rives breaking down the Govs fall camp. Walden and Rives will also take an early look at the Governors season-opening contest against Chattanooga, Sep. 2, at Finley Stadium in the Scenic City. Â
Assistant head coach and defensive coordinator Chris Kappas and linebacker Jack McDonald will also join this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show. Rives will sit down with Kappas and McDonald to break down the Governors defense in camp and how it will prepare in the final 11 days before opening the season against the Mocs.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches and players throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fourth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and it is simulcast online.
