CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – With a bye week on deck for the Austin Peay State University football team, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
This week's show features head coach Scotty Walden and host Brian Rives taking a look back at the Governors' 49-20 loss at Central Arkansas. The show then takes a look at what the off week looks like for Walden and Co. before taking a quick look ahead at the Military Appreciation Game against Murray State, Oct. 15.
In a special edition of the Austin Peay Coaches Show, volleyball head coach Taylor Mott and soccer head coach Kim McGowan will join the show to talk about their team's first year in the ASUN Conference. Mott's team is set to make the trip to Florida for matches against Stetson, Friday, and Florida Gulf Coast, Saturday, while McGowan's team will host Jacksonville, Thursday, and North Florida, Sunday.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various guests throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fourth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
Buffalo Wild Wings will also be sponsoring the Blazin' VIPeay Zone at all five home football games during the 2022 season. Buffalo Wild Wings will provide all-you-can-eat food and drinks – including beer in the Blazin' VIPeay Zone, which will be located in the south end zone of Fortera Stadium under the scoreboard and will open 30 minutes prior to kickoff before closing at the end of halftime.
Fans that attend this week's coaches show can receive a pass to the Blazin' VIPeay Zone by being one of the first 20 people to wear red and order an entrée at the Austin Peay Coaches Show. Fans that receive a pass at the Austin Peay Coaches Show must purchase a ticket – in any section – to the upcoming football game and redeem their pass that Saturday.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and is simulcast online.
