HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Austin Peay State University's Tristin Smith and Chloee McDaniel lost to Santa Clara's Jordan Bennett and Nicole Robinson, 2-1, Sunday, in the 61st Bracket of the inaugural AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championship at John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex.

After dropping the first set, 21-16, Smith and McDaniel scored a 21-19 triumph in the second. However, the duo fell in the deciding game, 15-13.
