CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – After the Austin Peay State University football team picked up a win in its first of three-straight road games to close the regular season, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
This week's show returns to Buffalo Wild Wings and features head coach Scotty Walden and host Brian Rives breaking down the Governors' 38-35 win on the road at North Alabama last week. The show then turns its attention to a significant ASUN Conference contest at Kennesaw State, Saturday.
Tight ends coach Ryan Yurachek and junior running back CJ Evans Jr. will also join this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show. Yurachek will break down how his tight ends have affected the Governors offense this season and what they can do to help pick up a win against the Owls. Then Evans Jr. will talk about a season that has seen him lead the Governors with 558 rushing yards and lead Austin Peay running backs with six touchdowns.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches and players throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fourth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
Prior to the live portion of the Austin Peay Coaches Show, ESPN Clarksville will air a prerecorded 30-minute edition of the Austin Peay Basketball Coaches Show at 5:30 p.m., featuring head coaches Nate James and Brittany Young with Ethan Schmidt.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and it is simulcast online.
If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Monday, it will be re-aired on Saturday at 10 a.m. leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.
