CLARKSVILLE – With kickoff just three days away for the Austin Peay State University football team, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The coaches show has moved to a new night, with the show now on Wednesdays. The first edition for the 2022 football season will feature head coach Scotty Walden and host Brian Rives breaking down the Governors' fall camp in preparation for the season opener against Western Kentucky.

Assistant head coach and defensive coordinator Chris Kappas and graduate defensive back Kam Ruffin will also join this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show. Kappas and Ruffin will both sit down with Rives to break down the Govs defense for the week zero matchup with the Hilltoppers.

Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches and players throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fourth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.

Buffalo Wild Wings will also be sponsoring the Blazin' VIPeay Zone at all five home football games during the 2022 season. Buffalo Wild Wings will provide all-you-can-eat food and drinks – including beer in the Blazin' VIPeay Zone, which will be located in the south end zone of Fortera Stadium under the scoreboard and will open 30 minutes prior to kickoff before closing at the end of halftime.

During weeks that Austin Peay plays at home, fans can receive a pass to the Blazin' VIPeay Zone by being one of the first 20 fans to wear red and order an entrée at the Austin Peay Coaches Show. Fans that receive a pass at the Austin Peay Coaches Show must purchase a ticket – in any section – to the upcoming football game and redeem their pass that Saturday.

The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and it is simulcast online.

If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Monday, it will be re-aired on Saturday at noon leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.
