CLARKSVILLE – Coming off the Austin Peay State University football team's first win of the season, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The coaches show has moved to a new night and is now on Wednesdays. This week's show will feature head coach Scotty Walden and host Brian Rives taking a look back at the Governors' 63-0 shutout win against Presbyterian in the home opener at Fortera Stadium. The show will then turn its attention to Saturday's "Red Out" game against Mississippi Valley State in Fortera Stadium.

Co-defensive coordinator and cornerbacks coach Akeem Davis and linebacker Josh Rudolph will also join this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show. Davis and Rudolph will take a look back at last week's shutout against the Blue Hose before previewing what it will take to replicate that effort against the Delta Devils.

Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches and players throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives each Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fourth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.

Buffalo Wild Wings will also be sponsoring the Blazin' VIPeay Zone at all five home football games during the 2022 season. Buffalo Wild Wings will provide all-you-can-eat food and drinks – including beer in the Blazin' VIPeay Zone, which will be located in the south end zone of Fortera Stadium under the scoreboard and will open 30 minutes prior to kickoff before closing at the end of halftime.

Fans that attend this week's coaches show can receive a pass to the Blazin' VIPeay Zone by being one of the first 20 people to wear red and order an entrée at the Austin Peay Coaches Show. Fans that receive a pass at the Austin Peay Coaches Show must purchase a ticket – in any section – to the upcoming football game and redeem their pass that Saturday.

The Austin Peay Coaches Show will be broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings and will air live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) and it is simulcast online.

If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Monday, it will be re-aired on Saturday at 4 p.m. leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.

Tickets for the upcoming 2022 football season – including tickets for the new Blazin' VIPeay Zone presented by Buffalo Wild Wings – can be purchased at LetsGoPeay.com/buytickets or by calling the Austin Peay Ticket Office at 931-221-PEAY (7329). In addition to being a "Red Out" game, Saturday is also Family Weekend and Teacher Appreciation Day at Fortera Stadium. A password for discounted group tickets for Family Weekend has been sent out to applicable individuals.
