CLARKSVILLE – With kickoff just four days away for the Austin Peay State University football team, the Austin Peay athletics department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show featuring football head coach Scotty Walden, 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
The first edition for the 2023 football season features head coach Scotty Walden and host Brian Rives breaking down the Governors' fall camp in preparation for the season opener against Southern Illinois. Defensive Coordinator J.J. Clark and graduate defensive lineman Jau'Von Young also join this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show. Clark and Young will sit down with Rives to break down the Govs' defense for the week-one matchup against the Salukis.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature head football coach Scotty Walden and various assistant coaches and players throughout the football season. Fans can join Walden and host Brian Rives every Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its fifth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show. Buffalo Wild Wings will also be sponsoring the Blazin' VIPeay Zone at all five home football games during the 2023 season. Buffalo Wild Wings will provide all-you-can-eat food and drinks – including beer in the Blazin' VIPeay Zone, which is located in the south end zone of Fortera Stadium under the scoreboard and will open one hour prior to kickoff, when stadium gates open, before closing at the end of halftime.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show is broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings, airs live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM), and is simulcast online.
If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Wednesday, it will be re-aired on Saturday at 4 p.m. leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.
