CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University women's tennis team hosts Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Florida Gulf Coast for an 11 a.m., Sunday match at the Governors Tennis Courts. 

Austin Peay (6-6, 2-1 ASUN) enters Sunday's contest after a 5-2 loss to Stetson on Friday at home. Denise Torrealba and Sophia Baranov took singles victories on courts two and three. Torrealba defeated Nadejda Maslova, 6-1, 7-5, and Baranov defeated Allana DiFrancesco, 6-4, 6-4. 

Florida Gulf Coast (8-7, 3-1 ASUN) is coming off a 5-2 win against North Alabama. Though the Eagles dropped the doubles point, they were able to win five singles matches, giving them the ASUN win. 

This will be the second meeting of the Govs and the Eagles, with the Eagles taking a 4-3 victory last season. 

Next, the Govs host Bellarmine for a 10 a.m., March 26 match at the Governors Tennis Courts.
