CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Governors are back on the road, but not before the Austin Peay Athletics Department, Five Star Radio Group, and the Hand Family Companies present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show with head coach Jeff Faris at 6 p.m., Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
Faris host Brian Rives will break down the Governors' home opener against #10 Southern Illinois last Saturday and look ahead to this week's matchup against Central Arkansas at 6 p.m., Saturday, in Conway, Arkansas.
Wide receiver Romon Copeland Jr. and reigning United Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week Jaden Lyles also join this week's Austin Peay Football Coaches Show.
Copeland Jr. is coming off a career performance against the Salukis in which he had a career-high nine receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown. On the other end of the line of scrimmage, Lyles became the first player to earn a weekly honor from the UAC this season following his 13-tackle day – the second-best single-game tackle total in the UAC this season.
Presented weekly the Austin Peay Coaches Show features head football coach Jeff Faris and various assistant coaches and student-athletes throughout the football season. Fans can join Faris and host Brian Rives every Wednesday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its sixth season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show is broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings, airs live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM), and is simulcast online.
