CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University head women's tennis coach Maria Sorbello-Morrison announced the 2025 spring schedule, Thursday.  

The season kicks off when the Govs take on Louisiana Tech (Jan. 30), Southeast Missouri (Jan. 31), and Murray State (Feb. 1) at McCraken Indoor Tennis Center in Paducah, Kentucky. The team remains in the Bluegrass State for their next matches for matches against Louisville (Feb. 7) at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Kentucky and Western Kentucky (Feb. 11) in Bowling Green.

The team returns to Tennessee for matches at Belmont (Feb. 14) and Middle Tennessee (Feb. 20). The Governors close the nonconference schedule at home when they host UAB (Feb. 22), Southern Indiana (March 1), Furman (March 4), and Ball State (March 6).

The Atlantic Sun Conference schedule begins with a pair of matches at the Governors Tennis Courts when Austin Peay takes on North Alabama (March 14) and Lipscomb (March 16). The Governors then hit the road for a match against North Florida (March 23) in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Austin Peay then returns home to face Eastern Kentucky (March 28) and Queens (March 30) at the Governors Tennis Courts. The Govs then head back to Louisville to take on Bellarmine (April 2) before playing their final home match against Central Arkansas (April 6). 

The regular season concludes with a trip to Florida to take on Stetson (April 11) in DeLand and Florida Gulf Coast (April 13) in Ft. Myers. 

The ASUN Women's Tennis Championship will be hosted by North Florida, April 17-19, in Jacksonville, Florida. The top six teams in the conference will qualify for at the UNF Tennis Complex.
