CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University women's tennis team travels to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional Tournament, Oct. 16-20, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
On Thursday players will compete in the qualifying singles rounds of 64 and 32. Elena Theil will face Betra Miret (Louisville) at 9:00 a.m.. Luca Bohlen will compete against Magdalena Swierczynska (Indiana) at 10:15 a.m. Pauline Bruns will face Mia Jones (Belmont) at 11:00 a.m. Katie Oliver will compete against Ida Clement (Purdue) at 11:00 am. All players will play a second match the following day, win or lose.
Sophia Baranov will compete on Friday, in the main draw. Doubles competiton will begin as well.
The Govs most recently attended the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, where they earned five wins across two days of tournament play.
Up next, the Govs head to the ASUN Women's Tennis Championship, Oct. 24-26, in Jacksonville, FL.
