CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a 14-point, ranked United Athletic Conference victory at Fortera Stadium last weekend, the Austin Peay Athletics Department and Five Star Radio Group present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show with head coach Jeff Faris at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Skyline 500 on the top floor of Shelby's Trio in downtown Clarksville.
Fairs joins host Kyle King to recap the Governors' 44-30 victory against No. 16 West Georgia and look ahead to a 5 p.m. (CT) Saturday contest against Eastern Kentucky in Richmond, Kentucky.
Running back Courtland Simmons and linebacker Will Middleton also join Faris and King on this week's coaches show.
Simmons had 22 rushing yards and an 84-yard reception against the Wolves. He is second on the team with 381 all-purpose yards and three rushing touchdowns. The reigning UAC Defensive Player of the Week, Middleton had seven tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a 26-yard pick-six in APSU's victory last weekend.
Presented weekly the Austin Peay Coaches Show features head football coach Jeff Faris and various assistant coaches and student-athletes throughout the football season. Fans can join Faris and host Kyle King every Wednesday at Skyline 500 at Shelby's Trio, which is in its first season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show is broadcast live from Skyline 500, airs live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM), and is simulcast online.
