JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Austin Peay State University beach volleyball senior Jordan Morris was named to the Academic All-Atlantic Sun Conference Team, the league announced Wednesday.
A 2024 graduate from Mercer, where she began her collegiate career, Morris currently has a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a master's of business administration.
On the sand, Morris is tied for a team-best seven win this season while exclusively playing alongside Grace Austin from the No. 1 position. Morris began her Austin Peay career winning three of her first four matches alongside Austin, with wins against Tennessee Tech, Liberty, and Morehead State. The duo then paired together for wins against Lindenwood at the Governors Classic before next defeating Tusculum's top pairing, March 14. Most recently, the two defeated Jacksonville's top pairing in Jacksonville, Floridia in a three-set match.
Morris and the Governors return to action tomorrow morning with the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Beach Volleyball Championship where they face top-seeded and No. 14 Stetson at 8 a.m., Thursday, at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
