CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University Athletics revamped its marketing and fan engagement department with the additions of director of marketing and fan engagement Nathaniel Gomez and assistant director J'hden Roberts-Davis.
Gomez comes to Clarksville from Texas Tech, where he was a student assistant for promotions and fan engagement. During his time in Lubbock, Texas, Gomez worked with the Red Raiders' men's basketball, soccer, football, softball, and volleyball teams.
Gomez worked with the men's basketball team during the 2024-25 academic year and helped the program post the 21st-best attendance in the NCAA, while the soccer program was top 35 nationally both seasons, including 11th in 2023. He also assisted with the Red Raiders' football program from 2022-24 and softball and volleyball in 2024.
Gomez earned a bachelor's of business administration in finance in 2023 and a master's in sport management in 2025.
Roberts-Davis comes to Clarksville from James Madison, where she served as a fan engagement assistant for the Dukes. While in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Roberts-Davis developed and managed promotion calendars for women's soccer and baseball, while also serving as the on-court lead for women's basketball.
Before her time at JMU, Roberts-Davis was an athletic marketing intern at Georgia Southern, preparing and executing marketing material for Eagles' home events.
Before working in collegiate athletics, she also served as a fan interaction team member for the Atlanta Falcons in Oct. 2022.
Roberts-Davis graduated from Georgia Southern with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2024.
