NASHVILLE – Austin Peay State University men's tennis earned a pair of victories on the opening day of the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Fall Individual Championships, Thursday, at Lipscomb's Huston-Marsh Griffith Tennis Center.
The Governors fell in a pair of narrow doubles decisions, with Vincent Lu and Ari Allouche falling to Lipscomb's Filippo Verdese and Matei Daniel Stan. Rohan Loubser and Logan Tomovski then fell to Bellarmine's Ryan Parkins and Zachary Tabaczynski.
Allouche earned the Governors' first win of the tournament with a three-set win against Lipscomb's Verdese – avenging his narrow doubles loss to him. After splitting his first two sets, 6-1, 4-6, Allouche responded with a 10-8 win in the 10-point tiebreaker. Rohan Loubser then responded with a straight-set, 6-2, 6-4, victory against Eastern Kentucky's Cole Wilber.
