LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Austin Peay State University's track & field team earned 10 wins, 17 top two finishes, 29 top five finishes, and had 14 personal bests at the Eastern Indoors, Friday, at the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center.

The Governors earned a trio of qualifiers in the 60-meter dash prelims in Seven Pettus, Molly Brown, and Alijanae Cole. All three sprinters then earned top six marks, with Seven Pettus earning APSU's first win of the day with a personal-best 7.56, first-place finish. The freshman Brown also earned a PR with a 7.87, while Cole ran a season-best 7.94 in the event.

McDonald followed her by just a tenth of a second to finish second, while Sharif and Schmeling finished fifth and seventh, respectively, in the event.

Austin Peay claimed a quartet of top 10 marks in the 200-meter, as Taylin Segree secured her first of two wins on the day. She was followed by Seven Pettus and Alijanae Cole who placed third and fifth, while Isis Banks narrowly trailed the trio with an eighth-place finish.

Segree's second win of the afternoon came in the 400-meter, where the La Vergne, Tennessee native posted a season-best time of 54.96. Each of the top four spots in the event featured Governors, with Mia McGee, Mariah Mitchem, and Alexis Arnett rounding out the top four.
