CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One week away from the 2026 regular season opener, the Austin Peay State University Athletics Department and Five Star Radio Group present the weekly Austin Peay Football Coaches Show at 6 p.m., Thursday, at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Austin Peay head football coach Jeff Faris, senior defensive lineman David Portu and junior quarterback Chris Parson join host Kyle King to recap a busy offseason in Stacheville and look ahead to the home opener under the lights against Gardner-Webb, August 27, at Fortera Stadium. 

Presented weekly the Austin Peay Coaches Show features coaches, student-athletes and administrators from around the Austin Peay athletic department. Fans can join the Govs and host Kyle King every Thursday at 6 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings, which resumes weekly hosting duties for the 2026-27 year. 

The Austin Peay Coaches Show is broadcast live from the Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, airs live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM), and is simulcast online.
